Compassion
Jesus was moved with pity and sympathy, because he saw the hurting of the world, through the loving compassionate eyes of His Heavenly Father. He wanted them saved and whole. SO HE DID SOMETHING ABOUT IT. It is not good enough to know about the pain and distress of others. We are called to be compassionate and DO SOMETHING. You can pray. You can proclaim the good news of Jesus and the Kingdom of God. You can feed and clothe the hurting. You can do something to make a difference in somebody’s life because people matter to God.
Matthew 9:35-38 Amplified Bible (AMP)
35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, TEACHING in their synagogues and PROCLAIMING THE GOOD NEWS (the Gospel) of the kingdom and CURING all kinds of DISEASE and every weakness and infirmity.
36 When He saw the throngs, HE WAS MOVED WITH PITY and sympathy for them, because they were bewildered (harassed and distressed and dejected and helpless), like sheep without a shepherd.
37 Then He said to His disciples, The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the laborers are few.
38 So pray to the Lord of the harvest to [a]force out and thrust laborers into His harvest.
Luke 19:10 Amplified Bible (AMP)
10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.
John 21:25 Amplified Bible (AMP)
25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did. If they should be all recorded one by one [in detail], I suppose that even the world itself could not contain (have room for) the books that would be written.

About the author
Pastor at Heart of God Fellowship
We are firmly planted in our community, and we continue to do all that we can to serve them in any way possible. God directs me in such a way that I teach relevant messages about His love for us and how to enjoy life God’s way. I want my congregation to be overcomers in all areas of their lives. I want them to develop the right relationship with God and their families. I stress living a balanced life: business, home, social, physical, mental, and spiritual. It is my belief that God will continue to bless us and add to our church daily.
