Heart of God Fellowship Kenya

“And lo, a multitude which no man could number, of all nations and kindreds and people and tongues stood before the throng and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands and cried with a loud voice saying salvation to our God which sitteth on the throne, and unto the Lamb.” Revelations 7:9

At Heart of God Kenya, it is our mandate to make sure that the peoples of Kenya are included in this multitude. Since 2002 Mike and Pat Heiser have been proclaiming the Good News of God’s unconditional love and grace through ministry to the street kids, to the churches and to the unreached.

In 2003 Mike and Pat opened up their hearts and even their home to the throw-away kids (street children). Many children have found a family and have met Jesus through the Heart of God Kenya Meru Kenya. No one else wanted them but we invited them to live with us.

“I was a hungered and you gave me meat; I was thirsty and you gave me drink: I was a stranger and you took me in…” Matthew 25:35

At HOGK we covenant with our kids to love them and help them become whomever God wants them to be. Most of our kids have finished high school. Many of them have gone on to trade schools and some to universities. As of 2022 we have 5 in post-high school studies and 5 in elementary school. Plus 2 babies at home.

Heart of God Kenya is training pastors and lay leaders alike through NEEMA Bible College. As our students examine God’s Word and apply it’s message to their lives, their families and churches are changing. Witchcraft and religious traditions are being rejected and hundreds of people are being set free!

NEEMA has classes in over 25 locations throughout Kenya. Over 1,500 Diploma in Biblical studies have been awarded since 2008.

NEEMA graduates are taking the Gospel of God’s grace throughout East Africa.

The mandate of II Timothy 2;2 “And the things thou has heard of me among many witnesses the same commit thou to faithful men who shall be able to teach others.”

The people of God in Kenya love the Church. They know that Jesus has called His Church to “rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away with Me. Cast your burdens upon the Lord and He will sustain you.” (Song of Solomon 2:10 and Psalms 55:22) In Kenya God’s children come to enjoy His Presence. They come to where there is comfort and peace. They come where the fear of drought and sickness flee. It’s their get-away! Their sanctuary from the pressing poverty that surrounds and tries to suffocate them. In His presence they find fullness of joy. Joy that empowers them to go forth and invite others to come and see that the God is good.

NEEMA Bible College Graduates are taking God’s Grace to the Kenyan Desserts -38,000 sq. miles of vast nothingness. There are nomadic tribes constantly move in search of water and grass for their cattle. Thirst, famine, and death dominate but Heart of God is bringing the Living Water, JESUS CHRIST as well as water to this dry and thirsty land.

Honduras

Audrey has been full a full-time missionary since 2015 working with the Foundation ministry in the Great Commission Latin America (GCLA) Church. The church in San Pedro Sula invests in communities in the North-western region of Honduras, following the mission and vision God has given to greater his kingdom. The Foundation is the outreach ministry that walks alongside the GCLA plant churches by creating community development and heart transformation in their community. After identifying specific needs in the community, the Foundation works with the church through social projects and programs. We currently have four programs: three Children’s Development Center (CDI) and the Medical Clinic Dra. Lul Janania which invests in the education and healthcare of the communities where they are located.

Harvesters Food Drop

On the second Monday of each month, Harvesters drops off a truck load of food to be passed out to anyone in need. Our team meets early to sort the food and package it in boxes to make it easy to pass out. There are no qualifications to receive food from our Harvesters food drop. You just need to show up around 5 pm and get ready to receive.
